Our waterborne coatings for wood are low in Volatile Organic Content (VOC), non-flammable, and are friendly to both the environment and your production finishers, while providing durable, easy-to-apply coatings meeting your exact requirements.
Examples of some of our product finishes for wood:
Single-component waterborne acrylic urethanes. These coatings, available as clears in several gloss levels, as well as pigmented colors, are designed to provide a rapid drying finish with superior hardness, flexibility and solvent resistance. Using the latest in waterborne acrylic urethane technology, these coatings have superb appearance, while meeting VOC compliance levels for years to come. They are non-flammable, do not contain HAP solvents, and are free from isocyanate hazards. Applications for this coating include cabinetry, furniture, millwork, and other applications where a non-yellowing tough, chemical resistant finish for wood is desired. It may be applied over our waterborne stains, yielding an all-waterborne VOC compliant finishing system.
Catalyzed waterborne chemical resistant finishes. For extreme performance, our unique waterborne chemical resistant wood finishes are designed to meet and exceed the chemical and solvent resistance tests specified in SEFA-8 for laboratory furniture, which include strong acids, alkalis and solvents. These products are low in VOC, HAPs-free and are specified not only as environmentally responsible finishing systems, but also as the preferred system for outstanding solvent and chemical resistance, suitable not only for laboratory furniture and case goods, but other applications requiring outstanding performance.
Waterborne acrylic lacquers and enamels. Available as clear coatings in several gloss levels, as well as pigmented color coats, our waterborne acrylic coatings provide rapid drying finishes with low Volatile Organic Content, while retaining the appearance of conventional lacquers. These environmentally friendly coatings are non-flammable, are free of HAP solvents, and offer easy application and clean-up. Some applications include millwork such as handles and brush blocks, miscellaneous wood components and many areas where an economic quality finish is required.
Waterborne stains. Several options are available, including waterborne dye stains, pigmented stains and finish coatings with built-in colorants. All very low VOC content and non-flammable.
UV Cure coatings for wood. Meeting your specific requirements, we have the capability to formulate 100% solids or waterborne coatings for wood. Available in both clear and pigmented forms, these are instantly cured using ultraviolet (UV) light.
